We are looking for an outgoing relationship manager to foster strong relationships with our Consumer and Small Business clients. The relationship manager’s responsibilities will include seeking out new business opportunities, providing clients with knowledgeable advice, guiding their choices, promptly resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction.
To be successful as a relationship manager you should be able to build positive, long-term relationships and support clients in the decision-making process by identifying solutions that most closely meet their needs and add value.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a deep knowledge of company products and services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients as well as teammates and business partners.
- Researching and pursuing new business opportunities including creating centers of influence.
- Acts as a financial advisor by educating the customer about financial strategies (e.g. Financial planning, investments, insurance, credit) based on customer profile and financial plan, and matching customer needs with appropriate products and services.
- Monitors customer information/products, financial plan and market trends to identify new customer needs and opportunities to deliver further customer value.
- Engages in daily outbound calling to existing and prospective clients to deepen and cultivate relationships which will generate incremental revenue for the bank.
- Builds, expands and maintains a portfolio of targeted high value and high potential clients.
- Meeting sales/revenue targets.
- Resolving complaints and issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring client satisfaction.
- Obtain Life and Annuity license with 6 month of hire and Series 6 designation when available.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience as a relationship manager, in customer service, or similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, active listening skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Must understand customer relationship management (CRM).
- Strategic thinker and the ability to analyze and solve problems quickly.
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while delivering results.
- Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage several jobs at one time.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Computer skills are required to perform the essential duties of this position and will include Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel and other support systems.
Note: As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
