Job Summary

This position is a post-closing clerk primarily responsible for recordings, tasking for policies, and providing back up to the other CTEC’s.  This position will be responsible for providing back-up assistance to new order entry and fulfillment, paperless file setup, order tracking, invoicing (initial search and all updates), escrow accounting functionality.  The position requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional multi-tasking and project management skills capable of prioritizing time and workloads and meeting established deadlines.     

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years prior real estate experience as paralegal or assistant in law firm or national commercial title and closing operation in the title industry.
  • High School Diploma or College Degree with demonstrated proficiency in mathematics. 
  • Ability to demonstrate fluency and power-user proficiency in First American Title Insurance Company’s FAST proprietary title and escrow platform in a national commercial operational setting; including full utilization of FAST workflow technology and workflow tasking..
  • Proven knowledge and competency in the areas of title fulfillment, escrow/settlement procedures and title insurance principles and procedures as they relate to underwriting and closing national commercial real estate transactions.  
  • Proficiency in Excel with the willingness to embrace technology applications to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to successfully meet imposed deadlines.
  • Must possess detail orientation with proven ability to produce quality, error-free work.
  • Confidence and capability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Superior customer service skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. 
  • Must be professional and a team player
