Responsibilities:

  • Report to the group director and oversee the daily accounting operation;
  • Prepare the daily FRR computation;
  • Prepare a full set of accounting of a licensed corporation under SFC (License Type: 1,4,9);
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed with quality and in a timely manner;
  • Monitor the overall intercompany process for the group and ensure intercompany balances, allocations and loans are cleared on a timely basis;
  • Liaise with SFC and other regulators for any queries, inspections and requests;
  • Prepare accounting records and all the related documents to attend the annual audit;
  • Handle ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in the securities industry / financial institute;
  • Sound knowledge of various regulations, including SFC regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements; 
  • Independent, self-initiative and results orientated, good interpersonal skills, a team player, attention to detail, and quality standards;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Immediately available is preferred.
