Senior Live Services Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, CA OR Vanouver, BC
Requirements
Be the technical leader on an nimble team focused on live features and tooling in Apex Legends Live Service
Work with Product teams to solve technical problems and increase operations of the Apex Store and Seasonal Content
Manages internal and external partnerships through challenging technical integrations
Experience working with Product/Production to create roadmaps/user stories/work items
Liaison for technical task planning, estimation and road mapping
Mentor team members in technical best practices and manage their career growth
Qualifications.
Passion for making and playing games.
Minimum 5 years experience in developing performant enterprise applications / backend systems
Minimum 4 years' professional experience acting as a technical leader/driving roadmaps or requirements
Hands on C\C++ Experience
Experience working with Web Services and Scripting languages (PHP/LUA)
Experience writing scalable, testable, performant code
Been part of a team that has shipped at least one AAA title.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with integrating 3rd party live service libraries (Attribution / Analytics / AB Testing / Identity / Etc)
Game Platform experience preferred - Origin/Steam/PS4/Xbox/Switch
CS degree preferred or equivalent experience
