Job Summary: To achieve the highest level of efficiency, providing necessary resources and leadership for our driver team while fulfilling customer orders and exceeding their expectation in service in addition to plant support of inventory needs and reporting.

Inventory Control Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Production Entry to include closing coils and reconciling any problem tickets
  • Daily error file reconciliation and research when necessary
  • Weekly/Monthly report completion as assigned
  •  Cycle Counts
  • Quick job entry, printing, sending to Connex
  • Sending/ Deleting orders in Connex
  • Quarterly inventory

Dispatcher Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Routing Trucks
  • Assembling paperwork for daily truck routes and sending driver’s copies of their route
  • Assigning drivers for routes and keeping up with drivers daily
  • Pushing routes to ship track for driver scanning
  • Monitoring ship track daily to insure driver scanning and following up with drivers to insure they are not having scanning issues.
  • Mandatory Saturday meetings when driver meetings are scheduled
  • Assure compliance with FMCSA Rules and Regulations including but not limited to:
  1. Safety
  2. Moving Violations – Co-coating and corrective action
  3. Keep driver current with time off for license/med card renewal/ endorsement validation) – setting renewal appointments
  4. Lennox/ Daily Drive Cam review, co –coaching and correction in conjunction with GM
  5. Coordinate equipment service/inspection and maintenance with Ryder and getting trucks there and picked up
  6. Training to assist drivers with ELD’s/Drive Cam/Phone assignment and use with Ship Track
  • Fleet Administration Responsibilities:
    1. Copies of blank log books for drivers when needed
    2. Driver Meeting preparation and presentation in conjunction with GM
    3. Assure discount fuel programs are optimally utilized by drivers
    4. Random DOT drug screens completed as required
    5. Effective coordination among other departments
    6. Random vehicle inspection and audits
    • Dispatcher Customer Service Responsibilities:
    1. Provide courteous communication with all customers
    2. Contacting customers for appointments
    3. Pro-actively responding to customer concerns/complaints
    4. ACTIVELY share appropriate information with internal teams as needed
    5. Review jobsite accessibility, review with customer prior to delivery
    6. Validate drivers are contacting customers
    7. Complete Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting as assigned
    8. Keeping driver’s built up and in good spirits, seeing that their needs as driver’s are being met.
    • Other responsibilities:
    1. Provide support to other departments as needed
    2. Must be a self-thinker and able to brainstorm solutions
    3. Occasional Travel as needed

    1. Office Setting in semi-private cubical
    2. Sometimes requires work in a manufacturing setting when research is being done
