Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Port Angeles, WA, to hire an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time, permanent opportunity. This role requires performing high-quality echocardiograms and ultrasound procedures while collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound studies.
Conduct Doppler studies and assist with stress echocardiograms as needed.
Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging for accurate physician interpretation.
Accurately document patient information and exam findings in EMR systems.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and departmental policies.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI.
Current BLS Certification (AHA).
Washington State license if applicable based on modality requirements.
Minimum 1–2 years of cardiac sonography experience.
Preferred Skills:
Proven ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms independently.
Experience with stress echoes and Doppler imaging.
Familiarity with hospital EMR and PACS systems.
