The organization is seeking a dedicated Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse for a temp-to-perm position in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves coordinating and delivering patient care throughout the surgical process while working within a supportive surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Function as a Circulator RN in the Operating Room, coordinating and delivering patient care throughout the surgical process.
Prepare the OR for procedures by ensuring necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile.
Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout the surgery and report any changes.
Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other members of the surgical team.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license).
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
1 year of recent OR circulator experience required.
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred).
CNOR certification a plus.
