We are looking for a strong Finance Manager who can work with the FP&A group and Clarks executive team to anticipate internal and external risks and opportunities for the $5 billion enterprise through a sophisticated data-driven approach. The Corporate Finance/ FP&A group advises senior leadership on a range of topics including financial performance, strategic opportunities and market trends. This person will help provide timely analysis around identifying opportunities in the market and play a critical role in the planning processes for the entire company and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with regional business units to forecast financial results, identify risks and assist with medium- and long-term business planning
- Help lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term planning processes
- Drive insights into opportunities and risks for projects, business units and the enterprise to C-suite
- Lead, support and participate in presentations to clients about the construction market, construction cost dynamics and the macroeconomic backdrop
- Understand company spend and identify trends and make recommendations
- Recommend forecasts and scenario modelling for project acquisition
- Develop financial models to evaluate new or emerging lines of business
- Support strategic cash decisions from investment guidelines to cash forecasting
- Review and present market-informed research to enhance business decisions
- Contribute to continuous process improvement, always looking for opportunities to streamline and eliminate redundancies
- Manage regular reporting and reporting systems to create automated reliable information
- Perform special projects as requested
- Play a critical role as part of the companys go-to data and analytical resource
- Manage and develop analysts on the FP&A team, encouraging apprenticeship and professional skill-building
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical abilities, i.e. Excel, databases (SQL, other programming understanding a plus), SAP, OBIE, and other analytical tools a plus
- High degree of business acumen
- Strong written and verbal communication skills comfortable executive presence
- Self-motivated, high personal responsibility and integrity
- 3-7 years of business, financial or strategic analysis experience
- BS/BA in Economics, Business or equivalent; MBA or CFA will be considered
- Collaborative, team-oriented individual willing to assist wherever needed to ensure the group provides accurate and timely financial information
