Financial Specialist I- BOP/DOJ

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking Financial Specialists to support the BOP division of DOJ in Maryland.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Be involved in daily clerical tasks that include any copying, printing, filing of financial documents
- Prepare and/or review funding documents
- Invoice processing including review and uploading invoices
- Reviewing and correcting errors and other issues in uploading invoices UFMS
- Compare paid invoice report with time period of obligation and prepare a report of missing invoices, or other perceived issues
- Review invoice tracking reports against paid invoices to identify outstanding invoices
- Assisting Vendors and Program offices with invoice inquiries
- Counseling callers on relocation program benefits
- Process travel authorizations per guidelines
- Process travel vouchers for payment
- Run open obligation and obligation status reports in UFMS and identify obligations that should be closed
- Prepare documents for approval to de-obligate unused funding in obligations
- Prepare documents for approval to de-commit unused funding in commitments

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must have 2+ years of finance related experience
Must be able to obtain DOJ MRPT Clearance and meet all security requirements
Must be US Citizen
