This internship position is available in Sandusky, Ohio for our Summer Season (May 2021 – August 2021). The ideal candidate would be available January – August. On-site housing is available as well as many other benefits.

Internships for all college students are available, including freshman and sophomore students! The internship experience combines Cedar Point business needs with college level internship requirements. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to grow and learn the entertainment industry through hands-on exposure to day-to-day operational tasks within your assigned Division. You will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and utilizing leadership skills while collaborating on group projects to ensure a successful operation.

- Retail Management
Preferred Majors: Business Management, Retail Management, Business, Sales
Intern Description: In this role interns will manage staff and retail locations. Interns will have direct access to the full time management team. You will gain experience in leadership, scheduling, time management, product fulfillment, visual merchandising, associate motivation and team development.
*Previous retail experience is required for the position.
- Merchandise Auditor (3)
Preferred Majors: Finance, Accounting
Intern Description: In this role interns will thoroughly review and research variances for all retail locations. Run daily revenue reports per location, conduct audits on associates, investigate transactions and work closely with the leadership team and revenue accounting.
- Data Entry (3)
Preferred Majors: Data Analytics, Business Administration
Intern Description: in this position interns will be experts in inputting transfers and fulfilment. They will verify paper work involving inventory and develop relationships with the leadership teams and the warehouse.
- Supply Chain (2)
Preferred Majors: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Fashion Merchandising
Intern Description: Interns will be responsible for providing support to the team within the warehouse by rotating through all operating functions. Individuals must be comfortable in a leadership role, leading projects, and ensuring efficiency. During this internship, responsibilities include but are not limited to, pulling orders, assisting with loading and unloading deliveries, inventory management, receiving, labeling, storing, delivering, and organizing warehouse inventory. Interns will be responsible for the operations of the mail-room. Interns will be trained on the functions of data works, driving and operating forklifts and box trucks.
- Retail Location Planner (3)
Preferred Majors: Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business Management
Intern Description: In this position interns will have a direct impact on the retail business at Cedar Point. They will utilize reporting and analyze data to drive decision making around assortment and in store displays. They will communicate and partner with in store leaders to discuss business needs and guests requests. They will review analytics to optimize business results and to drive revenue at each retail location. In this role interns will also work closely with buyers and retail managers. Interns will gain experience in product development, buying, setting store displays and organizing floor sets. Interns will also be trained in Retail Warehouse Operations and Data Reporting.
- Retail Event Planner (1)
Preferred Majors: Event Planning, Hospitality, Management
Intern Description: In this position interns will have a key role in planning and executing the retail portion of the major events that Cedar Point hosts each season. The intern will set retail locations, work with outside vendors and other Cedar Point divisions. In addition to the major events the intern will also be responsible for planning all associates events within the Retail Division at Cedar Point.
