Maintenance Water Quality Technician
About the Job
Water Quality Technicians are responsible for maintaining the water quality and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the filtration/sanitation systems within Cedar Point's 2 water parks, resort pools/spas and various water attractions and ponds.
- Education: Less than high school
- Experience: No experience required
- Minimum Age: at least 18 years of age
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
Ensure that the water quality levels are continuously monitored and fall withing and state and local mandated parameters, completing required paperwork, and adding appropriate chemicals to adjust the pool chemistry, basic math, and ensuring that routine maintenance on pumps and filters is performed as needed.
