The Service Delivery Manager/ Security Vetting Leadoversees a dedicated UK based Security Vetting team administering and managing personnel security requirements for Capgemini resources assigned to UK Government & Commercial projects in accordance with contractual requirements, Capgemini Vetting Policy and UK Government standards.
You will be pivotal to ensuring the transition from the current managed team under CIS, to Core Services. This service is critical to the UK business and transition must be seamless.
The role requires access to the UK Security Vetting (UKSV) application portal and working closely with UK Government agency sponsors and police authorities. HMG National Security Vetting at SC level and Police Vetting at a minimum of NPPV2/CTC level are mandatory requirements for this role.

Your role

You will be accountable for operational aspects of personnel security vetting and aftercare services, plus line management of senior team members; communicating and working with senior management / accounts; financial forecasting; strategy; driving and leading on improvement initiatives; training; coaching and development.

  • Provide high level / SME expertise & guidance to account teams, Recruitment, Resource management, HR & provide input to bid & tender
  • Oversee Vendor relationships including development of tooling, costs & procurement.
  • Accountable for the financial aspects of the team including forecasting and budget management, incorporating team size / structure.
  • Oversee recruitment for the team as and when required
  • Manage staff training, coaching and career development activities of 20 resources
  • Conduct performance management of team members including one to one meetings,appraisal reviews & feedback.
  • Manage day to day human resource activities adhering to Capgemini Policies (Absence Management, Annual Leave etc.)

Your profile

  • Proven track record in Service Delivery Management
  • Ability to proactively lead, motivate & manage tasks and resource to achieve business objectives & goals.
  • Manage task delivery across multiple client processes and negotiate priorities.
  • Provide regular progress reporting to client account teams / senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor & escalate security / operational issues.
  • Identification & implementation of improvements to working practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key process stakeholders e.g., Offer Management,Recruitment, HR.
