The job on offer

Were looking for a talented and ambitious Developer with a focus on Documentum to join our Insights & Data Global Business Line. Data and Information are driving huge growth in all industries and we are looking for someone who can lead challenging and complex delivery projects using the OpenText Documentum products. Initially youll be working in a project to deliver a Documentum platform for customers in our Public Sector business, meaning you will need to have Developed Vetting clearance.

Your role

In Capgemini we deliver projects for customers across all industries including Public Sector, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities and Consumer Products.

Initially you will be working on a project in Public Sector for one of our Central Government clients. As existing Documentum user they are looking to transform and modernise the way they manage their information. Your role will be as a Developer on the project, delivering customisations to the core Documentum products of D2 and Webtop.

You will be responsible for developing Documentum components on the core Documentum products and also to develop interfaces with 3rd party products. This is a critical project for our customer and as a Developer you will be a kay part of the team who will deliver this.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is and experienced developer with experience of delivering of Documentum projects. You will need to have a foundation in core Development skills such as Java and be experienced in developing solutions based on D2 or WDK and which leverage Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC) or Documentum Foundation Services (DFS).

In addition we would look for the following:

  • Experience of developing EMC D2 Widgets using GXT and Sencha ext-GWT
  • Experience of using FreeMarker syntax as part of the development of Dynamic controls
  • Development of custom D2FS client classes
  • Exposure to D2 BOCs and Retention policy services

We are also looking for someone who is comfortable working in a multi-supplier environment, working closely with our customer and our partners who has experience in delivering in a secure environment and understands the core principles of secure delivery, and how they need to be applied to a Documentum implementation.
