POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of your job is maintaining residents' medical records in accordance with Community policies as well as state and federal regulations. Handle and maintain patient medical records with confidentiality, accuracy, and respect at all times. Ensure that all medical information is filed correctly and up-to-date for the member’s continuity of care. You will also serve as a patient escort, assisting patient's to medical appointments when needed and serve as a direct patient care CNA, providing a safe environment, giving emotional and social support and attending to the resident's physical needs and comfort. 

Education & Qualifications:

  • Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing within the applicable laws of the state in which you work, or otherwise possesses the requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant under the laws of that state. 
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Must be 18 years old (if 16 years old, must currently be in highschool) 
  • Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
  • Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and Community staff in the performance of duties.
  • Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
  • Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.

Experience:

  • Must have related administrative experience and/or experience as CNA or Nurse at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must have LTC experience.

Shift and Wage:

  • Full-Time Opportunity Available
  • Shifts Needed: Days, Evenings, and Weekends
