RN Charge - Tele/Stroke - Nights

Position Description: RN 

The RN Charge responsibilities include:  

• The Clinical Nurse III is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.  

• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.  

• Responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.  

• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.

Requirements: 

Certifications and Licensures:  

• BLS (Basic Life Support)  

• RN (Registered Nurse)  

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department  

• Preferred Nurse Specialty  

Education:  

• BSN or BS Healthcare related field within 7 months of hire/promotion 

• OR RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion 

Experience:  

• Required: 2 years RN experience
