Responsibilities:
- Responsible for formulating and defining the system scope and objectives based on customer needs.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems.
- Recommends and prepares technical procedure and design for new or existing applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic problems and documentation as necessary.
- Tests, debugs, documents and in-services system modifications and upgrades.
- Has full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis.
- Ensures that change management policies and procedures are being applied within team.
- Takes ownership of resolution for product and/or implementation issues.
- Provides mentorship to less senior team members and is accountable as a role model for customer service excellence.
- Acts as project leader for designated projects as assigned.
- May work on multiple software applications and/or support multiple institutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 years Planning, Design, Testing, Implementation, Support and Analysis of programs and software OR 4 years Specific Systems experience with demonstrated competency in department as a Systems Analyst OR 4 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in Computer Science field.
- Must be experienced in systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design.
- Must have participated in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation. Must have sound knowledge of multiple core technical areas or business processes.
- Understanding of interface specifications.
Preferred skills :
- Cerner Revenue Cycle registration and scheduling experience.
