The Neurodiagnostic Technologist is responsible for the performance of all neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with technical standards set forth by the American Society of Neurodiagnostic Technologies (ASET), the American Electroencephalography Society (AEEGS), or the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). 

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist  is required to maintain and improve his/her level of clinical and technical knowledge across all disciplines of the diagnostic neuroscience's. At the moment we have openings for both Non-Certified and Certified with a variety of shift options. 

As an Non-Certified Neurodiagnostic Tech, this position cannot take on call by themselves until 6 months of employment has been met unless the Coordinator/Manager of Neurodiagnostics signs off on competency requirements set forth by the department. Required Certifications include BLS; in addition to REEGT, REPT, or REDT that must be obtained within 2 years.

As a Certified Neurodiagnostic Tech, BayCare required Certification & Licensure includes: BLS, REEGT or REPT or RPSGT or REDT or CLTM (Certification for Long Term Monitoring).
