Role Overview

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I – Pool, you will perform neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with established professional standards while supporting high‑quality patient care across diagnostic neurosciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing all neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with ABRET technical standards
• May perform EEG, Long-Term Monitoring (LTM), Transcranial Doppler (TCD), and Evoked Potentials in accordance with BayCare and national technical standards
• Maintaining and advancing clinical and technical knowledge across diagnostic neuroscience disciplines
• Supporting quality and consistency in all neurodiagnostic testing activities
• Working under supervision until competency is demonstrated; on‑call assignments will not be performed independently until after six (6) months of employment unless competency is approved by the Neurodiagnostics Supervisor or Manager
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

Required (one of the following):

• Graduation from, or enrollment within six (6) months of hire in, a CAAHEP‑accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) program, OR
• Graduation from, or enrollment within six (6) months of hire in, an ABRET‑recognized program, OR
• Associate’s degree or higher (or enrollment within six months of hire), OR
• Five (5) years of related experience

Experience

Required:

• One (1) year of experience in Neurodiagnostics

Licensure / Certification

Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Seizure First Aid Certification (SFAC) within 30 days of hire
