About the Job


The Clinical Coordinator - LPN will oversee daily clinical operations. Assist Site Manager and physicians with the successful operations of the clinical staff, procedures and treatment, support the physician's office health care team, answer phones, screen patient's chart prior to appointment, interview patients and prepare them for examinations and other procedures, assist the physician during the exam, administer injections, perform any necessary lab work or testing, follow up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient, provides patient education, maintain medical equipment and take inventory, perform other duties as assigned.

The Clinical Coordinator - LPN for this surgeons' office location will ensure efficient daily clinical operations at a busy neurosurgery office practice. Assists site manager and physicians with the successful functions of the medical assistant team (3 medical assistants), optimizes and ensures patient flow in the office during clinic, reviews processes and work flows and works on improving those as necessary, supports the physicians office health care team by handling triage clinical phone calls from patients pre and post-surgery, reviews patient records for triage purposes, provides patient education, manages surgeons schedule, reschedules office appointments as needed due to changes in surgery schedule, and performs other duties as assigned.

This office is located in the St. Joseph's Hospital area - Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd and Habana Avenue area in central Tampa.


Monday - Thursday:  8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 
Friday:  8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 

Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
