Lab Medical Assistant IV - Tech Asst POC - must have over 4 years laboratory experience, an associate or bachelor's degree, and the ability to work independently.

- Location: Clearwater, FL
- Status: Fulltime
- Shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Weekend Work: Occasional
- On Call: No
Responsibilities:
The Lab Medical Assistant IV is responsible for:
- Assists the technical staff within the technical departments
- Handles any and all manual pretesting procedures including waived testing as required
- Works in a team environment
- Demonstrate organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills
- Use computer skills appropriate to position
- Must have customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
- Identifies problems and implements and/or recommends solutions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Certification & Licensure:
- Required – Driver's License (if applicable)
- Required – ASCP / SCYM (if applicable)
- Required – AMT Medical Technologists (if applicable)
- Required – ASPT Phlebotomy Technicians (if applicable)
Education:
- Required – High School or Equivalent
- Preferred – Technical Science
- Preferred – Associate's
Experience:
- Required – 1 year in related field
- Preferred – 2 years in related field
