Financial Assistance Specialist - St. Anthony's Hospital

BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at St. Anthony’s Hospital. The Financial Assistance Specialist is responsible for:
·Identifying ER patients through bedside assessment.
·Interview who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from community agencies.
·May act as a liaison between the patient and community agencies.
·Must be available for flexible scheduling and willing to rotate shifts.
·Clearly documents all activities.
Required Education and Experience includes 3 years Healthcare customer service or Social Services with a High School Diploma or 1 year Healthcare customer service or Social Services with an Associates Degree.
Additional Preferred skills includes knowledge of community resources for unfunded/underfunded patients.
