Role Overview
As a Cytotechnologist, you will:
- Perform cytotechnology testing and assist with cytology specimen preparation
- Support fine needle aspirations and classify/evaluate specimens for pathologist review
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
🎓 Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
(Requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985)
đź“Š Experience
- 2 years of experience in Cytotechnology preferred
🧪 Licensure/Certification
- ASCP Certified Technologist in Chemistry
- State of Florida licensure required
