Position Details – Cytotechnologist Float
Location: St. Joseph’s Hospital – Tampa, FL
Facility: BayCare Health System – Cytology Services
Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary based on operational needs)
Schedule: Flexible; occasional weekends required
Float Requirement: Must be willing to travel and float between BayCare facilities as needed

Requirements
- ASCP Certified Technologist in Cytology
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory License – Cytotechnologist
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Bachelor’s requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of cytology experience
- Hospital experience not required— training available
- Ability and willingness to travel between facilities and maintain a flexible work schedule
