Description

BayCare is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic Total Rewards team. In this role, you will analyze compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key part in developing salary structures, evaluating jobs, and supporting compensation strategies that align with BayCare’s mission and values.

What You’ll Do In the Role:

  • Analyze market data and perform salary benchmarking to maintain competitive pay practices.
  • Participate in salary surveys and interpret survey results for compensation planning.
  • Develop and maintain salary structures and tables for HRIS system builds.
  • Prepare and update job descriptions; evaluate jobs using established processes to determine pay grade, salary range, and exemption status.
  • Maintain accurate records of job evaluations and compensation data.
  • Assist in developing BayCare’s compensation philosophies, policies, and practices.
  • Partner with Total Rewards team and leadership to address compensation-related questions and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Perform calculations for various compensation elements under the direction of senior team members.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on compensation analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in compensation analysis, HR, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with analytical and reporting tools.

Location: Clearwater, FL | Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Status: Full-time | Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend Work: None | On Call: No
