College Internship – Team Resources (Human Resources)

Summary
- The Summer 2026 College Intern – Team Resources (HR) will participate in a variety of projects and activities within the Human Resources department. This internship provides hands-on experience in a healthcare environment with opportunities to rotate through multiple HR disciplines and teams based on department needs and the intern’s area of study.
- Under the supervision of the hiring manager and team members, the intern will gain practical, career-related experience aligned with their academic program. This role is designed to increase the intern’s understanding of BayCare Health System operations, HR functions, and professional responsibilities while supporting departmental initiatives and deliverables.
Objectives
- Increase knowledge and understanding of BayCare Health System and Team Resources (HR) operations
- Develop practical skills and competencies related to the intern’s field of study
- Gain exposure to career-related activities in a healthcare environment
- Apply academic learning through supervised, hands-on experience
- Receive mentoring and guidance from HR professionals
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Human Resources or a closely related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university program related to internship field
