Summary:
The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include:
- Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
- Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
- Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
- Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 2 years Operating Room experience as an RN. Charge and/or Board Running experience preferred.
