Positions details:

  • Location: BayCare Alliant Hospital – Integrated ICU – Dunedin, Florida
  • Status: Full Time
  • Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Occasional weekend requirement
  • On Call: No
  • Exempt from overtime
  • Always in person

Requirements:

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher
  • 2-years' RN experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Preferred Experience - 1 year or more in ICU setting
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Preferred experience - 1 year of Nursing Leadership
  • Preferred certification - CCRN

 

TheAssistant Nurse Manager – ICUresponsibilities and skills:

  • Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills
  • Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issue
  • Ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process
  • Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information
  • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
