Sr Designer

Auto Club is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to assist with our facilities planning team. Position will be based at our Costa Mesa Administrative. Qualified candidates will have an understanding and skillset around the responsibilities listed below.

Job Responsibilities
Daily and monthly basis:
Occupancy Planning
Occupancy Planning Data Management
Furniture Requests
Site Event Planning

Rent Roll

Project support

Responsibilities Breakdown
Partner with Supervisor Facilities planning, project management, and move/adds/changes team

Scenario planning & option development
Block Planning, including analysis of office/cube ratios
Monitoring day-to-day space utilization
Adjacency mapping
Detailed move planning of moves

Planning Data Management:
Conduct quarterly occupancy audits to ensure accuracy of floorplans, head counts and furniture configurations are up to date
Ensure any room-use changes are documented and rent allocation updated.
Responsible for updating in AutoCAD any furniture changes

Upload revised plans to SharePoint

Maintain branch furniture standards

Maintain finish palette for branches and administrative facilities.

Manage department rent database

Move Management:
Manage work move add changes as requested through Club Hub.

Assist with implementing new workplace software
Work with hiring manager to identify seating
Assess location for cleanliness and furniture condition
Review request from Cushman and Wakefield
Update CAD floor plans
Update name plate
Review Contractor Report
Manage incoming requests & review with Supervisor Facilities Planning
Assist with schedule expectations
Coordinate design drawings and reconfiguration of spaces as needed with furniture partner
Update floorplans to reflect furniture changes

Follow-up with Client post-move for satisfaction
Support any ergo requests
Ensure proper function of furniture and submit work requests to vendors (warranty claims)

Request furniture quotes

Test fit furniture, space changes, reconfigurations
Research products and furniture options
Assist with electrical strategy for reconfigurations and moves
Monitor all offsite furniture inventory

Furniture Inventory Management
Obtain monthly inventory reports from furniture vendors and internal storage
Coordinate with Cushman and Wakefield to ensure that all spaces campus-wide are clean, free of unwanted furniture.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
3 – 5 years’ related experience
MS Office, AutoCAD

High energy and customer service
Strong Communication both written and oral

Work experience in large campus or headquarters environment
