Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery Room at Overlook Medical Center, to work from 7 AM to 7:30 PM including weekends as required by department.



Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.


Qualifications

Education:

  • BSN preferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in patient L&D experience is required
  • Ability to circulate, scrub and recover also required
  • Care for Antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients in Labor and Delivery in a Baby Friendly environment.

Certification:

  • BLS required
  • NRP required
  • Perinatal preferred
