
Communications and Events Sr Associate
About the Job
Reporting to the Supply Chain Communications Manager, the position of Supply Chain Communications Specialist will drive engagement, awareness, and understanding through employee-focused communications that support the function business strategies, vision and brand for Supply Chain Philippines. Role will be responsible for day-to-day content ideation and creation. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the event planning required to site events, working with the site engagement team and external vendors.
Content Ideation and Creation
Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive, cohesive Internal Communications that align with key strategic priorities and objectives designed to increase visibility and enhance understanding of business objectives and priorities
Write consistently in the Asurion brand and tone. Connect communication messages across vehicles to influence broader opportunities and ensure consistency and reinforcement of critical messages – “sees” the big picture”.
Edit for style, consistency and fluidity.
Support functional content, particularly visuals/multimedia.
Channel Management
Assess and develop the right combination of tools and channels to address needs of TCP Supply Chain team.
Work with teams to implement multiple programs within the assigned communications projects and timelines.
Collaborate with different groups and stakeholders to research and evaluate new ideas, processes, design and content.
Results Analysis
Work with team to sustain measurement criteria and processes that effectively evaluate internal communications programs.
Evaluates and tracks metrics that help correlate internal communications programs to employee productivity and organization performance
Presentation Creation
Work with team to develop content for the quarterly Town Hall, All Hands, etc.
Event Planning
Partner with HR and employee engagement workstream on developing, socializing and planning activities and events.
Meet the terms on budget associated with respective activities ensuring alignment with AOP/Finance
Lead team to plan and implement major and concept events
Organize facilities and details of event/project management on design, promotion, theme, décor, registration, program, and others (contests, games, raffle, token, food, entertainment and auxiliary support: IT, Safety and Security).
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure events are in compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications or Marketing-related discipline
Superior writing and editing skills
Proven corporate communications experience as a writer/editor with a large, fast-paced organization (i.e. internal communications, public relations, or strategy communications)
Ability to assist in the development of comms plan and site-specific communications and key messages
Proven experience coordinating large scale events that provide recognition, enjoyment and participation by site team members and yield a high level of employee satisfaction
Knowledgeable in web-based and offline communications software needed to perform the function
Proficient on Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Have intermediate/advanced knowledge on Adobe Photoshop and Premiere (a plus if have relevant experience in Lightroom, InDesign), skilled in photo and video editing
Outstanding attention to detail
Flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple projects with demanding deadlines with minimum supervision
Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
