Job Mission

The mission of ASML Finance Value Driving Teams (VDT) is to proactively support, challenge and help drive the business. The Finance Business Partner Sales & Customer Support reports directly to the Finance Director Global Intel Account helping to oversee all financial aspects of ASML’s commercial operations with Intel and US Customer Service operations.

Job Description

  • Provide critical support for Sales and CS Ops value driving activities within the Global Intel Account and US Customer Support teams, with a focus on Field Upgrades (UF) and CS activities
  • Help to develop, review and improve commercial proposals and customer agreements to achieve account team and corporate financial targets, as well as deal with issue resolution while executing deals
  • Participate in local Deal Structuring Team (DST) and assist in securing and tracking appropriate approvals to ensure adherence to policies
  • Work with the Global Intel Account Team, US CS Team and BI&C to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial forecasts and estimates (MOR, TAP, LE)
  • Proactively support the Global Intel Account and US Customer Support teams to achieve key financial objectives and corporate priorities, including revenue, margin and cash flow targets, and managing quarter end risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Business Insights & Control Team (BI&C) to develop reporting that provides compelling business insights aimed at driving actions to improve current and future business performance
  • Support the teams in a continuous improvement environment to improve processes, decision support and accountability
  • Act as a liaison to help maintain stakeholder alignment with applicable functions (Sales, CS Operations, BI&C, Corp. DST, business lines, legal, tax, accounting, sales, customer support, business lines, marketing, operations)
  • May travel approx. 10% - domestic or international
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • B.S. degree in finance, accounting, business or economics.Graduate degree a plus (MBA, finance or business degree)

Experience

  • 10+ years relevant work, related experience
  • Experience working with Sales and/or Customer Support teams
  • Experience in preparing for and executing contract reviews and negotiations helpful
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
  • Excellent financial and business management skills
  • Good understanding of accounting and tax principles, achieving key financial objectives and corporate priorities, including revenue, margin and cash flow targets, and managing quarter end risks and opportunities
  • Experience working as a Finance / Operational business partner – contract review, supporting account team, forecasting analysis, etc.
  • Semiconductor industry or high tech experience is preferred
  • Contract negotiation experience is a plus
  • Experience handling multiple priorities, and juggling several proposals simultaneously
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite programs and other required software applications
