- Transports residents and their medical records to Rehab as scheduled and returns them following treatment
- Makes minor repairs to wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and over bed trapezes as needed.
- Maintains department equipment in good working order by cleaning and storing it in its proper location..
- Delivers therapy schedules to the patient units, as needed
- Assists with filing department documentation
- Removes unused equipment from the units and places it in storeroom until it is needed for another resident
- Assists with treatment as requested by the professional staff
- Assists with transportation to and from treatment areas
- Cleans and disinfects rehab equipment as direct ie. parallel bars, table tops and mats with rubbing alcohol or dacon
- Delivers patient equipment to the units as requested
- Other responsibilities as assigned
