Overview
Family Home Health, a Licensed Home Care Agency, is a component of ArchCare at Home,a certified nonprofit home health agency that delivers the highest quality care to patients of all faiths in the comfort of their own homes. Our service area includes the five boroughs of New York City and the Hudson Valley. Services provided include home health aides, personal care aides, companions and live-in aides.
The Home Health Aide is responsible for performing health related tasks and may also provide assistance with personal hygiene, housekeeping and other related supportive tasks to a client in his/her home or facility under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Carries out the agencys mission, philosophy, goals and objectives within guidelines of Agency policy and position function.
- Interprets and implements the Agencys philosophy to staff and members of the community.
- Participates in the development and implementation of a realistic goal-oriented plan of care.
- Provides personal care and rehabilitative services and assists in activities of daily living as directed by the Director of Clinical Services or the supervising Registered Nurse.
- Follows care plan instructions as directed by Registered Nurse.

Qualifications
- Must be HHA or PCA Certified in NY STATE
- Must have compassion, patience and maturity to understand and react to clients needs
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years of age
