Overview
This position is responsible for directing the operational oversight and management of ArchCare intake functions, including: pre-enrollment education, entitlements, coordination of eligibility assessments, and enrollment submissions. The Director of Intake & Enrollment will seek to continuously improve the efficiency and performance of all integral components within the department to maximize customer satisfaction and support program growth.
Responsibilities
- Leads the development and execution of efficient operational workflows to maximize referral processing output for program enrollment
- Strategizes innovative work solutions, staffing model dynamics, technological integrations, and other tools and practices to improve the performance of departmental functions
- Develops, coordinates and implements policies and procedures and other pertinent documentation for the efficient and effective execution of the departments objectives and goals
- Oversee the hiring, training and management of staff members
- Develop departmental standards and practices to ensure accountability to all stakeholders and compliance with applicable regulations
- Drives team excellence by ensuring regular and timely contact is maintained with all referral sources, prospects, caregivers or other stakeholders involved in the onboarding of participants
- Engages in continuous performance improvement activities and seeks professional development opportunities for self and team members, with particular focus on industry knowledge competency and customer service
- Designs, analyzes and aggregates reporting formats for use by staff and senior leadership
- Ensures that all timeframes for enrollment submissions are met with appropriate documentation and approvals
- Acts as primary resource to organization for all intake-related inquiries and affairs
- Works closely with Finance to ensure fiscal soundness as it relates to participants Medicaid re-certifications and capitation payments
- All other duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- 5-8 years in healthcare primarily in the enrollment/intake function of a managed long-term care plan
- Expert knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and ISNP regulations
- Significant experience with CRM platform utilization and reporting
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using ePACES, eMedNY, UAS-NY, and MARx systems
- Prior experience in team development and management in a dynamic environment
