Through the 12-week Sales Team Enrichment Program (STEP), you’ll develop and sharpen sales skills to provide solutions to your customers’ employee benefit needs (specifically dental, vision, and hearing products). Learn how to build and maintain strong business relationships to meet sales targets.
Once you’ve finished the STEP program, you embark on your sales career with Ameritas though your unique approach to your market and client base. While you have the flexibility and freedom of working your own way, you’re not alone. You’ll continue to have support and guidance from other sales reps across the country and in your region, and from other business owners and stakeholders who are passionate about helping you reach your goals.

What you’ll do:
* Learn and develop knowledge around Ameritas employee benefit products to effectively assist customers.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance.
* Learn about the importance of building, maintaining and enhancing strong producer relationships through superior product and services knowledge, territory management practices, and excellent customer service.
* Understand competitor selling points and promote our differentiators.
* Learn different prospecting and selling methods.
What you bring:

* Highly energized, motivated, results oriented self-starter with problem-solving skills.
* Ideally a bachelor’s degree within the last 0-3 years in sales, entrepreneurship, business management, marketing , risk management, or communications.
