Our systems deliver the technology that powers fully-automated continuous deployment workflows and dynamic scaling for some of the world’s largest services. We execute millions of deployments to millions of hosts, every day.

A System Development Engineer will:
· Develop infrastructure-as-code software to stand-up large distributed services
· Design fault tolerance and disaster recovery solutions
· Identify and remove scaling bottlenecks in large-scale distributed systems
· Develop and maintain AWS region awareness features
· Work with other engineers to build and manage massively scaled services
· Work with other engineers to diagnose and resolve customer issues
· Understand and implement security and operational best-practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
· 3+ years’ experience in information technology
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
· 3+ years’ experience in 2 or more technical areas (Linux/Unix , Security, Networking, software development) or relevant experience in a similar field
· 3+ years’ experience in deploying and supporting applications and infrastructure in a 24x7 production environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· 3+ years of hands on work experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, and/or Systems Development

· Systems Engineering/SRE experience in a large, distributed environment focusing on automation
· Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
· Technically sound in software development and life cycle
· Experience using AWS services
