Here's your chance to join our Training & Certification team working in the highly visible role of Product Manager with a focus on our internal employees developing learning products and programs focused on continuous learning needs of individual and manager roles by job role, function or skill set desired.

The successful candidate will have a strong execution mindset and possess the ability to take initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and autonomously, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

The candidate should have a deep understanding of workforce enablement programs, experience in individual contributor and people manager roles and a desire to build and deliver learning products to this specific audience.

The ideal candidate would have experience in product management, instructional design/content development, and learning design.

Key job responsibilities
--Translate functional and learner needs for creating products and/or programs supporting our people manager roles.
--Actively seek out internal customer requirements and feedback
--Good at prioritization based on data and evidence
--Develop/refine product/program training strategy for the people manager role and develop detailed training product requirements
--Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams within AWS (including T&C Leadership, WWRO Leadership, Solution Architecture organization, etc.) to identify training needs
--Lead and manage the development of the training product lifecycle, from roadmap creation to product launch to deprecation.
--Own the user-experience for all learning offerings in your product set
--Manage the global rollout of programs, working with product marketing, launch and training delivery readiness teams.
--Be the main point of contact for team members on offerings, enablement, and continuous learning for your product set
--Able to apply expertise in training methodology, content development/curation, program/product delivery, diverse training mediums, and training operations to our programs
--Engage and understand patterns in knowledge gaps, and provide thought leadership for proposed programs and learning products
--Define and manage KPIs to evaluate training effectiveness and propose adjustments to the training programs to improve performance and ensure objectives are met.
--Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
--Must have a global mindset and have the ability to think at-scale.
Travel up to 15%, domestic and globally, and sometimes on short notice.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·7+ years relevant work experience in product/program management, IT training/education, or operations program management (capacity planning/workforce planning and LMS systems)
· 3 + years demonstrated understanding of cloud technologies and distributed computing.
· 3 + years recent experience writing product and market requirements documents for technical offerings.
· Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a fast-paced technology company
· Experience with data analysis, metrics, reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Qualtrics, Quicksight, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent business writing and oral communications skills
· Building dashboards and metrics for measuring results
· Experience creating and/or improving operational processes across teams/stakeholders and external vendors
· Proven track record of taking ownership, managing conflicting priorities and driving results
· Passion for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity work, workforce development and training Tech teams
· Demonstrated ability to communicate with various levels of an organization, including senior executives
· Building new programs from the ground up - being innovative, creative, and customer obsessed.
Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and translate into detailed execution plan.
· Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $118,400 - $160,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
