We can’t tell you everything about us yet but we are stealth new technology team building scalable solutions incorporating cutting edge machine learning algorithms, big data, sensors, smart home devices, IOT, system on chip, cloud services, and Alexa skills.

We’re looking for a Software Development Manager (SDM) to lead and grow the programs we support. The ideal candidates are passionate about the customer experience, takes pride in building high quality software, and have a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering new features and products. They value collaboration, making data-driven decisions, and can comfortably communicate with others, in both technical and non-technical roles.

We’re looking for a technical leader, a people manager, and a collaborative team member with the ability to work in a diverse team. The SDM will be involved in architectural decisions, contribute to systems development, manage launches and operations, and improve engineering processes. The SDM will develop a talented team of software engineers, focused on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. In addition, the SDM will collaborate with product managers, designers, and researchers to innovate and rapidly validate new opportunities.
You will be instrumental in helping build our first prototype and launch this product.


· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
· At least 4 years of experience managing software development teams
· Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations


· Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or related technical field
· Strong experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams
· Strong project management experience desired for working on cross-functional projects
· Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong architectural and problem solving skills
· Demonstrated track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects with evolving requirements
· Excellent written and verbal technical communication with an ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
