Description

Amazon Mexico seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member in our Marketing and Prime Finance team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with stakeholders to develop insights and create tools helping assess investment decisions. Also, you will work closely with finance leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve overall planning and forecasting process. Primary responsibilities include:

- Create, improve, and maintain financial metrics, reports and scorecards used for consolidation reports. Measure marketing programs on P&L in a short and long term
- Establish guardrails in Marketing and Prime's team willingness to invest in acquiring or retaining customers
- Develop relationships with business teams, implement new processes and drive continuous improvement
- Annual Plans, Forecasts, Month End Close and Variance Analysis

A day in the life
The Senior Financial Analyst must have solid financial knowledge and business acumen while thinking strategically and dealing with ambiguity, building financial analysis to make recommendations and communicating findings in a clear and concise manner. This role requires cross-functional partnership with product managers, Marketing and Prime team, data scientists, economists, and business intelligence engineers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of finance experience
- 1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
