Job summary
Note that this job requires weekend work and a successful candidate must be able to work Saturday - Wednesday every week. In addition, a successful candidate must be willing to work onsite in stores multiple days per week. Physical instore visits within the region are a hard requirement.

We are looking for an Instock Manager to lead critical work managing regional grocery Instock performance for Amazon Fresh Stores. You will own developing business plans and oversee supply chain and inventory management specifically focused on Amazon Fresh Stores (AFS) within your specific assigned region (e.g. Chicago). You will lead cross-functional initiatives both in region with your stores and in partnership with the central ISMs teams across Categories (e.g. Dairy, Produce) to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the businesses.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved instock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and shrink reduction
• Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business
• Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
• Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows


· Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience
· 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel


· Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including creation of complex queries using SQL, statistical analysis, validation of data sets, and distillation of data into actionable insights
· Strong proficiency in Excel
· Demonstrated ability to own and deliver results
· Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
· Refined written communication ability
