Product Manager, Tax Tech, Customer Engagement
About the Job
Help build a brand new Customer Engagement function to drive awareness, education, adoption, and retention of our innovative Tax Technology solutions.
This job can be based in Arlington, VA or Seattle, WA. Previous Tax experience not required.
Key job responsibilities
This is a marketing and internal business development opportunity. In this role, you will support the practices of content development, customer engagement, product evangelism, marketing, as well as customer and competitive research analysis related to the development and adoption of technical products and programs.
A day in the life
Learn from our Tax customers about their process pain points by hosting focus groups, road shows and product/program demos. Evangelize our portfolio of technical solutions through various owned communication channels to help customers find the best solution. Collaborate with customers, User Experience experts, technical program and product managers about ways to optimize the customer journey throughout the full product/program development lifecycle and beyond. Conduct research to help identify opportunities that expand awareness outside of the Tax organization to identify additional customer groups. Develop engaging content to keep future and existing customers informed and track success to continually optimize.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBasic Qualifications
-3+ years Marketing or Customer Engagement experience
-3+ years of product, program or project management experience
-Experience with content strategy and development of engaging marketing content for newsletters, websites, emails, etc.
-Experience conducting market and/or competitive research and analysis
-Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Qualifications
-Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
-Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
-Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution
-Training and/or virtual event experience
-Product roadmap management
-Experience with persona development
