Job Description
Responsible for assisting with Private Passenger Auto product related questions within the company and assisting Product Managers with addressing business needs related to the system. This position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform product Help Desk support which requires policy and process research and provide timely responses to internal customers (PMs, TSMs, etc.).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement projects and rate revisions which includes communicating new and revised processes to impacted areas.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to rating tables.
- Perform Business Specification Package updates for programmers, testers, and remainder of business to work from.
- Provide problem resolution analysis.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of our policy system and processes in order to support the business.
- Monitor policies with pre-determined criteria to determine if underwriting action is necessary and execute necessary steps with approval from business partners.
Minimum Skills and Competencies:

- Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- Strong NPS knowledge/experience
- Comprehensive understanding of PPA product structure including UI’s, rules, and other rating/underwriting elements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to articulate and present information to both internal and external parties
- Ability to drive for results, deal with ambiguity, solve problems, make decisions, see trends/patterns within data sets, identify root causes, and recommend action plans
- Works independently with little supervision
- Experience rating, processing, testing, or analyzing PPA policies
- Work well in a team-oriented environment
- Strong leadership skills
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of related analytical experience
- Ability to perform manual rating
- Claims/EPIC experience
- Strong proficiency with Excel/VBA
Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $47,440.00 - 70,415.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
