AECOM is seeking a Transportation/Transit Planner Intern to be based Phoenix, AZ
This position is expected to begin in May, 2023
Job Description for Specific Requisition – Responsibilities, etc
Assisting in the development of bridge superstructure and substructure component designs, structural quantities and cost estimates, and component details utilizing OpenBridge Designer, Microstation, AutoCAD and a variety of design software applications and MS Office applications
Assisting with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development, reviewing of field information, possible field inspection of existing facilities and other work consistent with the duties of an entry level engineer
Uses computer software as a tool for structural analysis and solving basic engineering problems
General office administration, including report reproduction, collation and deliveries
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Must have completed one year of study
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
