AECOM is seeking a Sr. Transportation Drainage Engineer to be based in Austin, Texas and Houston, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
Leads technical business development work.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Approves and signs off on work.
Leader in one or more areas of technology.
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects.
- BA/BS + (10) ten years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- The selected candidate will be subjected to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Registration Screening (MVR).
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
10+ years of previous drainage design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and/or Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)
Professional Engineering (PE) License
Experience designing highway/roadway systems and drainage systems
Experience with GeoPak Drainage, SWMM, HY-8, and HEC Programs
Experience on multidisciplinary project with subconsultants
Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is required
TxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Hydrologic Studies, Roadway Hydraulic Design, Bridge Hydraulic Design, Storm Water Pump Station-Hydraulic Design, Bridge Scour Evaluation and Analysis, Coastal Hydraulic Design, Riverive Hydraulic Design, and FEMA Regulations and Permits)
Experience with SUDA
Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews
Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits
Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development
Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
