The Site Civil Engineer will work on High Tech, Industrial and Logistics Industrial facility projects that are designed in the South Carolina Regional B+P group with a focus on the civil aspects of the design including grading, drainage, and utilities.

Job Summary/Responsibilities
The Site Civil Engineer will work on High Tech, Industrial and Logistics Industrial facility projects that are designed in the South Carolina Regional B+P group with a focus on the civil aspects of the design including grading, drainage, and utilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
- Performs interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and identifies discrepancies in results
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision
- Design of utilities, roadways, general site development, grading and drainage, best management practices, erosion control, profiles, typical sections, cross sections, hydraulics
- Drainage studies include low impact development strategies & hydrology.
- Preparation of drawings, specifications, basis of design, technical memos.
- Preparation of permits such as NPDES, SWPPP, Grading, DCAB, Civil Support of an Environmental Assessment
- Work with other professional staff members to collaborate on reports, studies, drawings, and design narratives
- As needed, will utilize AutoCad Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Working in an office setting with potential meetings outside of the office or visits to sites where a project may be located
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Due to the nature of this job, US Citizenship is required
