Summary:
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team. Analyzes complex technical issues and guides solutions to challenging issues within a team within their
function, business unit or technical discipline, using
standard operating procedures/methodologies as a
basis and defining new procedures and methods as needed - Leads proposal efforts for geotechnical engineering services including scope, schedule and budget.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Mentoring and technical development of Geotechnical staff. Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Develops the Engineers cost estimates for projects.
- Project Manager for Geotechnical projects or Geotechnical component of large projects – in charge of tracking scope, schedule and budget
- Business development for new and existing clients

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Information:
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology preferred.
- 12+ years of related experience in Geotechnical Engineering projects.
- Solid understanding of performing and managing field work
- Ability to manage projects within budget, scope & schedule as well as effectively managing engineering staff as assigned.
- The ability to work well within a team
