Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Project Scheduler for immediate employment in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will be part of the PPM Project Controls Group supporting various Project Control Managers and staff with scheduling and risk related tasks.

Job Summary Details

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to

  • Review and analyze Baseline Schedules and monthly Schedule Updates (resource loaded if required) using the CPM method in Primavera P6
  • Provide schedule layouts and filters of schedules as requested by the project PM and Owner
  • Identify schedule issues, opportunities and corrective actions to mitigate potential delays to projects
  • Verify schedule progress by visiting project job sites
  • Represent company and/or project in meetings with owner, A/E representatives and other contractors as required
  • Be capable of explaining schedule and positions in a formal meeting
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’ degree in engineering, architecture, or construction
  • 4+ years of experience of progressive Construction Project Management experience, which includes scheduling
  • Must have an understanding of construction means, methods, and sequences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to use Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Experience with construction schedules for design-bid-build and design-build deliver methods.
  • Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling knowledge/experience and the ability to analyze schedules to determine duration and logic issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to read and interpret contract requirements and to read engineering drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Prior field project engineering experience in transportation, building, or energy projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in Federal building projects
  • Experience with Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and other schedule delay analysis.
  • Experience with Quantitative Risk Analysis for schedules
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Procore
