  • Close support to our Technical Directors and Associates in project delivery, work winning and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • On the job mentoring of junior staff, supporting them to achieve chartered status.
  • Support practice development and innovation.
  • Active input to team and client meetings, being prepared to own decisions and put forward alternative ideas and concepts.
  • Prepare fee bids and proposals for internal and external clients.
  • Preparing, checking and reviewing a wide range of technical reports including Desk Studies, Interpretative reports, specifications, construction drawings and Design reports.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to AECOMs industry leading quality assurance programme
Minimum Requirements
  • Possess strong problem solving and inter-personal skills, working closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents.
  • A wide range of experience, knowledge and skills in geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology.
  • A strong working knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practice.
  • You will preferably have good knowledge of Network Rail and Highways England design and reporting processes.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Candidates should be willing to travel within the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering
  • BSc/MSci in Geology, Engineering Geology or Earth Science
  • MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology is desirable.
