AECOM is actively seeking experienced, creative, and highly talented NASA Building Engineering Specialist to support the Engineering Technical Services Support Contract for the Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Branch at NASA Armstrong at Edwards AFB, CA.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Works under direct supervision
Uses concepts, practices and procedures to extract and provide GIS data to clients
This level is typically provided data from a level II or III for database entry and/or providing basic figures for projects and presentations. Level I is an end user of designs completed by level II and III
Performs tasks of limited scope and complexity

Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security pre-employment background check
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Due to the nature of this work, US citizenship is required
Bachelor's Degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering
- 5 years construction quality assurance inspection industry experience, or 5 years construction quality assurance inspection industry experience
- Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor and outdoor environments with uneven terrain and variable conditions including heat, dust, noise, and dryness. This position requires frequent (more than 50% of the workday) standing/walking, work in an environment of heavy, moving, dangerous equipment, keyboard/mouse operations, repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting less than 25 pounds; often (25-50% of the workday) climbing stairs; occasionally (10-25% of the workday) operating vehicles, operating heavy, moving or dangerous equipment, and lifting 25-50 pounds; rarely (less than 10% of the workday) working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending/stooping, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), working at heights, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, working alone in isolated/remote areas, and lifting 50-75 pounds. Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, and hard hat.
