AECOM is looking to fill multiple full-time Lane Managers to work on a 3-year contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Program supporting FEMA’s four Consolidated Resource Centers (CRC). This work is 100% remote and is contingent upon contract award, which is anticipated to be in Spring 2022. FEMA PA Experience is a must in order to qualify for this role.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, Geotechnical) or related degree with 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent experience or education
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust
FEMA PA and/or CRC experience is required for Lane Managers
Strong people and project management skills . Will be responsible for assigning work based on staff qualifications and workload, communicating with multiple stakeholders, managing quality and productivity, and leading assigned team
Experience providing excellent customer service; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Attention to detail
Strong observational, decision making, analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize and clearly present key disaster recovery issues and progress to resolution
Outstanding smart phone and computer skills – this job is 100% computer-based and work is completed through a web-based application, so strong computer skills are required:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word), Adobe Acrobat, and Google Earth (file conversion and import/export ability required)
Ideal candidate would have supported multiple PA assignments, including at least one CRC assignment. Ideal background includes experience in the design and/or construction of public infrastructure. Ideal disciplines include:
Construction Management
Project Management
Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, Geotechnical)
Current DHS Public Trust clearance/badge
Additional Information:
This project has a heavy focus on production and quality focused project. Staff must be committed to completing the work efficiently and accurately. Work will be monitored and reviewed regularly.
The U. S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (DHS/FEMA) Personnel Security Division requires all disaster personnel to be U.S. citizens and be able to successfully pass a background investigation.
As this is a fully remote position, relocation assistance is not available.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. For Colorado locations only, the salary range: $80,000 - $111,000 USD (Exempt).
